In a city where mass tourism causes one to practically be spat on at every cafe, bar and restaurant, this is quite the opposite: an oase of quiet where you can take your time to relax, while you taste rare beers (also on tap, changed often) and delicious, earthy, home food at reasonable prices.

Very Flemish, but that's the theme apparently. The mocktail was ok but not very special, lots of snack options which is good and very very busy.

In the middle of the extremely busy tourist and shopping area of Amsterdam is a rather unknown small square where you will find this diner and café. Its got a good lunch and a great selection of drinks and beers. It's definately worth going here for lunch, or simply to enjoy the sun in summer on thr terrace.
